Perform is free to use on development machines.
On a server, it won't run without a license key. Before deployment, purchase a license key for the project you wish to deploy and add it to your project configuration. Simple!
- How much are upgrades?

Upgrades are free! Simply use composer to update when a new version has been released.
- What counts as a single project?

A single project typically means one source code repository hosted on one production domain.
You may deploy the same repository to multiple environments as part of your testing process, but there should usually be one domain per project.
- What's the difference between a single and team account?

Single accounts are for individuals managing software licenses on their own.
Team accounts can have many users login and manage the same pool of licenses. This is ideal for multiple developers working together.
- Can I buy multiple copies of the single license?

Yes, you can buy as many as you need for your different projects.
If you decide to upgrade, any money you've spent on single licenses in a given year can be deducted from the price of a pro license.
